Frueh Wins Regional Geo Bee, State-Bound


Bazil Frueh, a seventh grader at Ottawa Hills Junior High School, came in first in the regional geography bee and will compete at the Ohio State Bee on Friday, Mar. 31.

One champion from each state and territory will advance to the National Geographic Bee Championship, which will be held May 14 to 18 at the National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Frueh is a member of Bear Pause, Makwa, Power of the Pen, and Junior Chorale.
